Who are the Desert Flyers, you ask? Well, it is a group of just "plane" people that enjoy aviation, purely for the fun of it. “Plane” people are those who love to share some great fellowship and, on most occasions, a great meal to boot. We usually gather at the destination of the day for breakfast, but some are night flights, or social gatherings. Some are unusual destinations and many are familiar favorites mostly in the state of Arizona and sometimes, out of state. Often times, some of our folks will have an empty seat or two in order to share their experiences with those who are aviation buffs but are not licensed to fly. Currently we are scheduling and hosting our activities at www.meetup.com/desertflyers Please join us on meetup and join the fun. We are also on Facebook and Instagram as well.
Our club is also DUES free:) So order a shirt and come fly with us!!
The Scottsdale Breakfast Club has been around for 23 years in 2017. We have not gone away, just updated our look and format. We are joined with the old Phoenix Pilot Group and hope to be a continued resource for pilots and plane owners in the Phoenix area. Majority of the members are based at Deer Valley, but all are welcome.
COVID-19 has really hit social groups hard the past few years. But now that things are improving we are getting back to group events.
